Hi, I’m Amy, the baker behind this sourdough cottage bakery. What started as a simple curiosity about sourdough quickly turned into a passion for baking naturally fermented bread. I knew I had something good when I made my first loaf and my family devoured it in a few short hours. They have been my best taste testers and helpers at local markets!
I love the slow process of sourdough—the patience it requires and the magic of turning just flour, water, and salt into something beautiful and nourishing. Each loaf is hand-shaped and baked in small batches using traditional fermentation methods to develop deep flavor and texture. We won first place for our classic loaf at the Hayden Mills Bread Fest in November 2025!
You’ll usually find me baking, experimenting with new seasonal flavors, or sharing sourdough with my community at local markets. I also love helping beginners learn the art of sourdough through hands-on workshops where anyone can discover the joy of baking their own bread.
